“Whoever does not provide for relatives and especially family members has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.” (1 Timothy 5:8)

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry provides St. Regis Parish with a trained team of lay caregivers–called Stephen Ministers who provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care and support to people experiencing grief, divorce, sickness and health issues, job loss, loneliness, disability, relocation, separation and other life difficulties.  We are looking for parishioners who want to use and strengthen their caregiving and leadership gifts in a meaningful ministry – serving others while experiencing tremendous spiritual growth themselves.  People who are hurting no longer suffer alone, but rather, with a caring Stephen Minister from St. Regis, who, with 50 hours of training, provides confidential emotional and spiritual care for as long as the need persists.

Divorce Ministry

Our divorced Catholics are invited to a monthly discussion session on topics that could be helpful, e.g. Prayer, Reconciliation and Forgiveness, Don’t be angry with God, Don’t be angry with the Church, and Annulment.

Young at Heart: Senior Fellowship Luncheons

Members of this hospitality ministry host a Mass or presentation on Catholic issues followed by a luncheon for our parishioners over age 55.  Programs may include life of prayer, local community senior programs, end of life directives, police and fire safety, and local senior assisted living facilities.  Volunteers are needed to coordinate and contribute to these gatherings.

New Dawn

New Dawn is an open and welcoming organization that invites adults, who have faced loss, to experience opportunities for healing, growth, and new purpose through spiritual,  educational, and social support to its members.
