Faith formation for children who do not attend St. Regis Catholic School takes place on Monday evenings from 6:15 – 7:30 for students in first through eighth grades during the academic year. Our curriculum is centered on the teaching of Jesus Christ in our Holy Scripture and uses the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church: our Creed, liturgy and sacraments, life in Christ (moral teachings) and prayer. Our volunteer catechists witness their own faith journey for our students while incorporating different activities and experiences for the students to grow their own faith. Students also participate in group prayer, the sacrament of reconciliation and Mass together throughout the year. We use the Blest Are We: Faith and Word series.

Father of all families, you have called catechists to serve your family in truth and love. Let your Spirit enlighten their minds and strengthen their hearts so they can be a path of Christ’s love to families, especially those in need, the homebound and aged, the disabled and disheartened. Amen.
