The St. Regis Christian Service Commission is hosting seniors and friends for a First Annual Young at Heart Christmas Party on Sunday December 17 from 2-4pm in the Father Shields Club Room. The party is for all seniors: especially seniors who may be spending the Christmas holidays alone or who don’t get out of the house often; but also for Grandparents! Help is needed to help make this event a warm, welcoming, community-building, faith-sharing event for our Seniors and our whole community! Here’s how you can help:
Adopt a Senior: help a home-bound senior, or senior(s) who would enjoy a fun afternoon attend the party. If necessary, provide transportation to and from the party, and sit with the senior at the event. Deacon Francis King will help match you with your senior when you sign up!
Help Host the Party: Help with setup and cleanup, and service at the party. Share in the fun with the party-goers!
Bake Cookies for the party and to send home with guests.
To volunteer or ask questions contact Tlanda McDonald at firstname.lastname@example.org; or Deacon Francis King at email@example.com.
